About Us

Lots of Tots Day Nursery is owned and operated by Lots of Tots Childcare Limited. Situated at 35 Broad Street, Port Talbot, SA13 1EW; the nursery offers a range of childcare options including: full day care; before, after and wrap around school club; holiday club and sessions for children aged from birth to 10 years. Lots of Tots Day Nursery is registered with the CSSIW for 40 children. English is the first language of the Day Nursery, some Welsh is taught in line with the Foundation Phase, such as: colours and numbers, singing and stories.

All children are welcome including those with additional needs and those requiring one to one care. Lots of Tots staff have many years experience working with children who have additional needs and have specific Special Educational Needs training. The nursery is equipped with its very own indoor park, allowing children to experience outdoor play and activities on bad weather days where trips to the park are not possible.

All children, parents and families applying for a place at Lots of Tots will be treated fairly regardless of race, religion, cultural preferences, disability, gender, or social status. All applications are treated individually. There is currently no waiting list for places in the nursery.

The aims of Lots of Tots Childcare Limited is to provide affordable, high quality childcare in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment, giving priority to the development, needs and happiness of our children and their families. The setting believes that this quality can be achieved by working together in partnership with parents, carers and the CSSIW, with our childcare firmly based on the following principles:

• Every child is a unique individual.

• All children have skills and abilities that need to be brought out and built upon.

• The starting point of children's education is what they can do, not what they cannot do.

• Children have the right to develop physically, socially, emotionally, morally and intellectually to

   their full potential.

• All children learn through first hand experiences, using their five senses.

• Learning is holistic for young children.

Lots of Tots Childcare Limited recognises and values the diverse community that it serves and if parents have any queries, comments or suggestions about its operation they are encouraged to inform the Setting Manager/Leader. Staff will always be happy and willing to discuss a child's progress, development or any concerns a parent may have.
